Assistant profesor (Adiunct) in the Department of History of Diplomacy and Totalitarian Systems

A candidate should be the specialist in the history of Eastern Europe in the XX-th century, especially in history of political thought or diplomacy in the first half of this century. Documented research experience of the nationalities problems of the USSR in this period is required. A candidate should propose a research plan permitting him to undertake the habilitation work and to obtain the habilitation degree in concordance with the research profile of the Department.

The Applicants are invited to submit the following*:
— an application for employment, addressed to the Director of the Institute;
— a Curriculum Vitae;
— a copy of their doctor diploma;
— information about scholarly interests, scientific achievements, and list of publications;
— Description of habilitation projects and itemization of work done;
— Candidate’s statement that if selected, the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences will be their primary employer;
— a consent to be included in the number of employees who run research activities during the employment period (written declaration).
