An interdisciplinary database of abstracts and citations from pure and natural sciences, engineering, medicine and humanities. Its scope covers 23,000 journals, 145,000 books, book series, conference proceedings and patents. It also indexes research-related websites. The majority of journals available on Scopus are published outside the USA. The database also provides the h-index calculated on the basis of materials published after 1970. |

An interdisciplinary collection of abstract and citation databases that includes: the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) from 1945 onwards, the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) from 1956, the Art and Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) from 1975, the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) from 1990, the Book Citation Index (BKCI) from 2010, the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) from 2015, the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) from 1997, and the Essential Science Indicators. The WoS databases index the journals listed on the Master Journal List and comprises c. 33,000 journals (including 23,000 continually published journals), and 60,000 books, conference proceedings and patents. |
