Invitation to the Conference "Gender and the State. 100 years of the fight for equality in Central-Eastern Europe" - Instytut Historii im. Tadeusza Manteuffla PAN

The Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the German Historical Institute of Warsaw, the Institute of History of the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw Scientific Society are pleased to invite you to participate in the conference entitled “Gender and the State. 100 years of the fight for equality in Central-Eastern Europe”, which will take place in Warsaw on November 27-29, 2018.

The goal of the conference is to take stock of the political, social and cultural changes that have been the result of the equal rights movement in Poland and Europe.

We particularly invite presentation proposals from persons working on PhD or postdoctoral projects. Proposals of up to 3000 characters, in Polish or English, along with a brief information about the author, should be submitted by January 31, 2018 to the following address: seminarium.charewiczowej@gmail.com.
