Digital editions
The Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences provides a complementary infrastructure for creating digital editions. As part of our services, we provide:
- tools for handwritten text recognition (HTR)
- tools for manual extraction of information from scans of source material (INDXR)
- automatic extraction of information from texts (Natural Language Processing)
- infrastructure for annotation and sharing TEI-standard editions (TEI Publisher)
- tools for visualizing data on maps (GeoHum).
